700R4 Tranny Issue

I've had it into a tranny shop and they adjusted TV cable & changed oil. Also an accumulator valve was plugged so they fixed that. No change in issue. No shift kit installed.

My tranny issues?

1. Tranny constantly downshifts for any incline no matter how severe to maintain speed.

2. Tranny slams from 1st to 2nd gear. Letting off of throttle eases slam, but steady acceleration always causes loud "KACHUNG" and you can feel it hit 2nd.

Ideas?

It has been a few years since I worked at a tranny shop but don't these have to have the line pressure set. Too much line pressure will make a hard shift but not sure if this trans is one of them.

If your accumulator port is plugged the shift to second will be extremely hard, also
