Radiator/Sway Bar question
I got my radiator in last weekend and when I had it mocked up, the lower outlet hose was sitting directly on the sway bar.
I have 2 choices: re-drill the radiator and raise it up a few inches OR lower the sway bar I would rather not re-drill the radiator, as I don't want to run into further issues with hosing. Then again, I'm not sure how big the impact will be on handling if I lower the sway bar. Has anyone ever run into this problem before? If so, what solution worked for you? |

Re: Radiator/Sway Bar question
Lowering the sway a little might be ok if its a small amount and you can still support the bushings securely. Too low might result in weird loading-preloading of the sway bar tho.

Re: Radiator/Sway Bar question
Do you have a decent transmission shop available? If so have them move the connection above the sway bar. As the sway bar works it moves around as much as the bushings allow. If they are too close the sway bar will wear on the radiator connection.
