Springs
Hey everyone i just finished rebuilding my front end on my truck as well as lowering it a couple more inches. After everything was installed i needed to get the front end realined. so on my way down to the shop i noticed my susoension making a loud noise every time i hit a pot hot. So my question is, is there a proper position for the front springs?

Re: Springs
i would think the loud noise is it bottoming out/// maybe even the crossmember hitting the pavement

Re: Springs
How much total drop does your truck have now? And yes, it is possible that the springs aren't seated correctly.

Re: Springs
Probably hitting the bumpstops, or the crossmember on the pavement as cdowns said.

Re: Springs
If you didn't replace the shocks with shorter ones they are bottom out on travel. Likely that is the thump ur getting.
