Dodge Seats in my 68?
Hey all, I was wondering if I could put Dodge bucket seats in my 1968 Chevy C20? Would new brackets need to be made or patching of previous holes? The reason I am asking is because I am looking at getting a pair of 2008 R/T seats for my truck and mounting them in there. I saw an episode of Overhaulin' where they put Hummer H3 seats in a 1972 Chevy C-20 but they had to make new brackets. If so, let me know because I think these seats would be awesome in my truck. Thanks!

Re: Dodge Seats in my 68?
I put Mitsubish (Ithink) seats in my panel.I did drill one hole. The rest of the install was some 1- 1 1/2 square tubing and some 1 1/2 angle.I designed the mounts to use the original holes(Passenger on Panels only had one rear mount, thus the hole I drilled).I mocked everything up(the seats sat too low)then started measuring and adjusting. The front mounts to the angle and the angle to the original mount holes(with Fender washers),the rear mounts to the square tube and the original holes, plus the one I drilled.I used these seats because my drivers was junk and they were cheap at a swap meet.I gave $50 a for the 6 way power seats. The only way to see is to mock everything up and see what you need to raise level etc.

Re: Dodge Seats in my 68?
I have a 98 ram seat in my 67. I made a simple perimeter frame out of square tubing then used the original rear mount and mounting holes. And some angle in the front.
