WOOO HOOO The motor is in!!!

With a lot of help from my loving wife, wise father law and apprentice wrench fetcher son Erik, we got the engine and tranny dropped in Project flatbed today. Here are a few pics

This is how close the distributor is to the firewall in the I-6 location (Sorry Jeff, I just had to )

The only changes were the cam shaft , flat top pistons, moly rings , it used to be a 2 barrel intake now a 4 that will be outfitted with a rebuilt Q-jet and yeah the HEI.

i see your ramhorns dump straight down, is the 350 out of a 4x4? i heard that 2wd trucks dump back and 4x4 dump down? thats looking awesome

This truck won't be coming to Indy. It'll only have 2 seats and 4 people! We'll have to drive the GM instead!

Thanks for all the encouraging words guys, this day was a long time coming. Here are pics of some more progress. We got the inner and outer rocker welded in and the cab corner tacked up.
