smog pump removal...
Was gonna remove the smog pump/bracket/hoses.just figured id double check if itll lead to any issues , or if theres anything ill have to address.

Im gonna have to get something to thread into the exhaust manifolds im guessing to plug them up.

If you do take that stuff off just remember, we are in California. Just cuz we don't have to smog are old rigs yet, does not mean you should throw that stuff away!

Have done all of this..including the required reinstall years ago. But my truck is
totally unencombered now. Yeah, just get some plugs. Mine are square headed vs. hex, but they all plug the same. Cant rememberwhere I got them though. Best thing about doing this is no more pump squeeks, squeels, noise. And a much cleaner look under the hood. Posted via Mobile Device
