67 truck

Your truck looks really nice. But I already have my '68 SWB and could use the money.

Thanks

Would you happen to have any pics of the engine, bag set ups and any other pics? Also how many miles are on the truck? If you do can you please send them to Renntec99@aol.com.

I'll probably take a lot of flack for this but...

I'm interested and am wondering what it would take to bring it back to near "stock". It looks like a good original to start with. Mostly interested in putting back factory suspension components and OE 15 inch steel wheels. How much of the original pieces are still with the truck and how much undercarriage surgery was there to get it's current stance?

Also is truck in Indiana or where is it?

OK, but I wouldn't classify it as junk (or price it that way either)

(and to think I was just going to torch it off )

Can't blame a guy for trying...

I really do like that wheel/tire combo - has a nice stance.

I still have the original spindles and coils if needed. I believe I still have the frame sections I cut out when I c-notched it. I gave the original rear end and panhard bar to a buddy: I think I can get it back. I trimmed the bump stops back on the lower a-arms. Everything could be reversed to stock.

Thanks
Dave

Oh yeah,

Truck is in Indiana, but I have been working in KC and traveling back and forth. Could possibly deliver. I have met some cool board members while working in KC.

rotadyne,

Beautiful Blazer!! Movin this to the top

I wish I could afford it but I can't Besides that, I put a down payment on a 68 LWB before I saw yours. I would like to like to use the same type of wheel you did in the rear. The truck already has a pretty narrow 9 inch rear in it.

Could you tell me, especially for your friends 68... Did you have to widen the rear wheel tubs? Or did you have to use wider aftermarket wheel tubs? Those are 20x10 in the rear right? Would I have to worry about rubbing without changing wheel tubs with a steel spring 4" front and 6" rear ECE drop? Oh yeah, any good place to order the wheels from, $$ wise?

Sorry for getting off topic. Goodluck selling it!!

Thanks,
Tom

I love the blazer! I saw in it a recent magazine too. I don't mean to bother you but could you put up some pics of that sweet looking 57' you've got there in the background?

It is in the December 2003 issue of Street Trucks, and also Truckin in the back.

magazines

It was also in the October issue of Classic Trucks for the Indy Goodguys coverage. I only took it to two shows. It was a big hit.
