Side exhast exits!!

Wanting to have my exhast exit right in front of my rear wheels. The only problem is that my truck has a factory auxiliary tank mounted side-saddle on the frame. Would the exhast pipe get hot enough to ignite the fuel in the tank?

Re: Side exhast exits!!

Since the tank actually extends below the body the pipe would have to be pretty low and heat shielded. Probably better to follow the factory path. Or dump both out the right side in front of the wheel.
