stereo question
i think ive seen a thread about this before but cant find it at the moment. i want to be able to hook up my ipod as well as an amp and a sub BUT i dont want to slice the dash apart and i also want to use the stock mounting holes (not just sticking it in the glove box)

Another option would be to grab a Shaft style radio off ebay that has cassette. Use an adapter to hook from the tape player to your ipod. Most of the ones made by Sony, Pioneer, etc had preamp outputs. Alot of the those go for 50-100bucks.
Id just make sure if buying one has some sort of non-doa warranty and a 30 day return policy in case it dies.

I know you are not looking to cut your dash up but I got the dash and bezel out of a 90 suburban that had the 1.5 din and replaced my steel dash and bezel with that and I have been very happy
