Re: Sanderson big block long tube header install...
They fit like a glove! No mods needed at all, slid up into position very nice. When I get my steering column back from Kevin, I will start it and test Sandersons gasketless flange. Just some engine silicone on the mounting flanges. 2 person job, but really something that could be done in a few hours with a buddy. Super pleased with fitment for sure!

They look good! How is the spacing by the starter? I have a mini starter and the Hooker headers I have are about an 1/8" from the starter. I have a heat shield but its closer than I would like.

Nice install, do you have any pictures of how low they hang by the frame rails. Do they tuck up in the frame rails or hang below? Also do you know what part number they are?

Re: Sanderson big block long tube header install...
I will take some tonight and measure starter clearance. They don't hang terribly low.

Re: Sanderson big block long tube header install...
Here's a picture of how far they hang. My truck is stock height though, I could see where clearance issues could be a problem on a lowered truck. The cutouts are going to be a little low for my taste even being stock height. Trying to decide on exactly where I want them.
The are pretty close to starter. I don't know how much smaller a mini starter is than a regular starter, but I don't think these would have a whole lot more room.
