broken wiring harness mount clips

Several of my plastic clips that support the wiring harness have cracked. My fix was to trim the cracked pieces off, drill a new hole in the orginal tab, and mount with a nylon rivet I bought at autozone. I bought 1/4" rivets and 5/16" rivets to cover the different size holes and trimmed the top of the rivot mount to hide behind original clip. I used a metal screw to stand out but if you use the black nylon screw it blends in nicely.

Re: broken wiring harness mount clips

Nice mod! I like the fact that you used easy-to-get parts that don't cost much money. I've seen guys use Adel clamps, but to me, they stick out too much. Wiring is one of those things that you can spend so much time on, but when it's all done, you really don't want it to be seen. I always try to make sure the harness is freshly wrapped, routed cleanly and safely, and tucked out of sight whenever possible.

I love to see simple mods like this. Nicely done!
