wiper speed
my blazer only has one speed working on the wipers (low).
anyone else have this prolbem?? is it the switch or the motor or a ground ??? thaniks for any suggestions. jamie

I would say it is the switch. My 67 has fast and slow.....

Do the wipers work on both settings, but they're just the same speed? That's how mine were - the same painfully slow speed on both settings. My problem was the wiper motor.

This didn't happen to me on the truck, but my Celica.
The actual linkage that moved the wipers was starting to seize up. So no matter what setting the wipers were on, the motor only had enough torque to move the wipers at one speed. I took the linkage apart and lubed it up and all was well after that. Not sure if this will apply to the linkage on the truck, but it may not hurt to check.
