Re: PB bagged 69 stepside-because Leon asked...
Sweet pics! I'd love to set my 70 up like that.
So there's an actual build thread on this truck? If so, would you post a link? Thanks. |

Re: PB bagged 69 stepside-because Leon asked...
Also, do you have any pics of the truck at ride height?
*edit* I just noticed the text above the pics in post #176, "Playing with ride heights in the driveway...". Wow, really!?! Last edited by cericd; 05-28-2013 at 11:18 AM. Reason: Correction. |

Re: PB bagged 69 stepside-because Leon asked...
Thank you both!
Nope, no build. I do have many pics though. I never bothered to post them because there are plenty of other builds showing the install of the suspension. One rainy afternoon I'll have to just start from the beginning and post 'em all up, but in the build section, of course! Here are a couple of shots from this weekend after getting the brakes done. Higher than what I expect to be ride height really, but the roads around here are a mess, so I wanted to start at a safe height and work my way down until I hear horrible scraping sounds. This is about 5" in rear and just under 5" in front. The first pic above in my driveway was like 4" rear and 3" front or something close. |

Ooh, I have limited experience with Windows; I'm a designer, we're forced to use Macs.
Thanks |

I don't know why they're so tiny when I upload large pictures.

Lookin' sweet!
I'm almost positive that the forum resizes them automatically when you up load them. It may be possible to host them somewhere else like flickr and use the forums "image link" function to get the image to post actual size. |

Re: PB bagged 69 stepside-because Leon asked...
Yeah, I was very excited when I got the ECE 4.5/6" drop in my previous fleetside...for about a week! It drove very harsh, and I was like "Umm, that's not very low at all, is it..."

Re: PB bagged 69 stepside-because Leon asked...
Thanks, Keith! I love your wheel choice. Did you order new headers, or were Nate's pics helpful in making some new clearance? I was going to ask if the bed has worked out without being too much work, but I don't think you're there yet!
