Thank you!! The trailing arms are from a Bristol cup car. Same length as stock and nickel plated.

I made the upper rad hold down myself. It covers up all the stock holes and looks a ton better IMO. It was pretty easy to make

What an awesome story - I love things like that! Wish I started on my C10 at 17 lol

Ok...back to page 1.. Lol

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane

rear end looks amazing my friend and bummer on the wheels. as a machinist I run the other end of this scenario where we do all we can to ship it out on time demand is just too high most of the time and errors do occur unfortunately. Wish you the best in dealing with getting your wheel back

Thank you sir, the lost wheel should be here anytime this week. As soon as it shows I'll get the tires mounted, they are already ordered and sitting at discount tire waiting on me. They are 255/40/20

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane

On another note, the old girl went to final paint today. After much waiting, I finally got everything tied up and dropped it off. I am going to make a couple of mods to the bed before I drop it off so it's at my dad's shop, everything else is ready to go. Local shop called Hawks Restorations is doing the work for me, really cool guy and I'm looking forward to see my truck painted. Also he's gonna lay four coats of clear so I can wet sand and polish it to look like a mirror

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane

Last few. Hopefully it'll be done by the end of the month but I am going to California all of July so if not I'll get it in August. Either way I won't have too many updates for a while so hang tight guys.

Thanks man, it is all original. Some rust in the cab supports but that's about it, the paint is super nice for original paint. The old man who owned it took really good care of it

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane

Couple minor updates, the fourth wheel showed up today and it's at discount getting a tire. Also stepped up and bought these off the parts board to hopefully eliminate my brake rotors from hitting the lowers.
Question of the day. Should I get the new control arms powder coated black to match everything else or nickel plated?
I think nickel would look pretty sick considering the quality of Porterbuilt products

Thanks Keith!! I took your advice on tires, 285/40/22 rear 255/40/20 front. I think it's the perfect look. Discount tire told me 40s werent designed to carry the load of my truck even tho they dont know any specs on my truck so I had to go to a local nitto dealer and ended up saving 50 bucks!!

I agree.
The sidewall ratios looks very good, in my opinion,... and compliment each other.
Some would rather have a 35 series tire,... not me.
Intro should use your pics on their website.
Because Intro has terrible pics of these wheels on their website.

I think they are one of the best kept secrets in a "salt flat" designed wheel, on the market.
I'm surprised more don't run them.
And the satin center is so much better than a polished center.

I'd actually like to have them in a completely satin wheel.
Center and lip.
