1972 window regulators
Will 1972 window regulars work with my 1969 doors and windows?

Re: 1972 window regulators
They will work but the shaft the crank handle goes on is longer due to the thicker door panels on the 72. Chris

Re: 1972 window regulators
Thanks Chris,
Can I change out the 72 window crank shaft with my 69's? Or is the shaft permanently attached to the regulator? Rich |

No, they're permanantly attached. If you have 72 door panels that's the only other thing that'll work. Chris

Actually the shaft is riveted to the regulator. You can swap them. I have done it but its kind of a pita.
