I love it! I have a old hood that came off a 64 LCF (low cab forward) thats less than 3 ft long and i have been wanting to make a dresser out off it just havnt had time to mess with it yet. Im gonna have to tell the wife im gonna build her a swing just like your setup but it will hang from chains haha

GREAT idea! Maybe you can make a canopy out of the hood...

I like this. It's a very creative idea. I've thought about maiking things out of old junk, but I'm too lazy to actually do it.

I think it would be cool if you had the tail lights hooked up to a 12v source and have the lights automatically come on when someone lets the tailgate down (especially at night).

lol, she is all for it. says it fits our style better then normal deck furniture. i still have another couch style one to build, and then cut the frontend off the truck for an entertainment center in the living room!

but yet she wont seem to go for parking my S1 in the living room...(one of the very few things she says no to...)

i think its pretty enough to be in the house!

Just showed this to the Mrs. Only response was "No." Told her about the entertainment center. "No."

Said there's nothing like that in the designer magazines.
