Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Installed my 2nd chrome rear window bead lock today. Came out decent this time. Pictures tomorrow since it's pouring down raining at the moment.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Good evening I took my truck on it's maiden voyage today!! It is a 1966 c20, 250eng, 4.57 gears, 8ft dump bed w/ grain sides and stockracks and steel floor, pto pump. I bought it at auction 3wks ago from original owner's sale. Been working on it every spare moment. It has always been shedded but mechanically neglected. just a few thing left to do but I can start using as is. I am excited! It is emerald green with white top and matching split rims which I will get rid of as soon as I can. Lowell

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Got my firewall all painted this weekend. Started working on cleaning up the frame. Should have the front frame painted this weekend and then it's time to install the engine. Can't wait to get this baby running!
Good ol' Apple iMac flipping the pics again. I even rotated it again. Sorry.

You need to rotate where the shutter is on the right hand side on Iphones and such....maybe the same for iMac? |

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
The actual pictures are fine, both on the iPhone and the iMac, but something happens when uploading the file. Even after flipping the photo and resaving it, it will still end up upside down in the post. I have tried taking the actual picture with the shutter on the opposite side, but then when I upload the photo, it is still upside down.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Been a while since I've been here, but I finally brought ol' Green into the shop here at the Dodge dealership (sharing spaces with a 240sx project - go figure).
Popped off the front drums, grimaced at what I saw, and I have new wheel cylinders, shoes and hardware kit ordered to service the front end. If you wanna go fast, make sure you can stop too. Right?

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Dropped the rear tank and added rubber to all the contact points and straps while my son organized the shelves.
Put it up on jack-stands for cleaning the frame up. rg |

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Picked up my muffler and test fit it (perfect), and my center bearing (they brought in the wrong one). Checked the fit of my newly cut bed wood (also perfect).

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Finally, got the lower rear mounting hole issue takenm care of. It ain't factory but it will work. The nut was too messed up to re-tap correctly.

Put a good scuff on Ole Brownie. Gonna try to slap some paint on her tonite so she'll look (slightly) better for the parade Fri evening.

Blew the rear half back apart so we could clean for primer and painting.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
That is really beautiful. Nice job. I've read in other posts that Mar-K has reference information showing the hole locations for both bed types and lengths, although I've never actually checked to see for myself.

J3564wost - I love that paint! My plan is for Nissan KAE Charcoal gray, with Nissan Light gray trim/grill, etc..
What color is you gray? Looks similar in pics. |
