Wanted; tranny for 1981 C/10 I6 Auto

My friends truck has puked 3rd and reverse. Its a 1981 C/10, but I dont know what tranny is in it. Its either a TH350 or 200, im not sure. . It use to have a manual 3spd in it. Anyone have one that works in the PA area?

usually its a 350 but if ya have a haynes manual it has the diagram to identify transmissions best and easiest way to tell . I called a guy i know in long island for my automatic and for a th400 trans with no core and a new converter im geting a price of $500 if yo0u want to call this guy and see what he can do for you its Anderson transmission and the umber is 516-352-2760

If it is an inline6, it will be a TH350.

sure as long as you know how to take the whole transmission apart to do that.LOL it's actually the whole mainshaft from what i am told. DAVE.

I have one in pa 17329 zip it is used but works fine from a 2wd 82 gmc it's a 350 turbo. $100.00
