Thanks Mike. I looked at it a couple times today while passing it and I like how it turned out.

Looks great! I've been contemplating some hood hinges like that. Very hard to install?

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside
Thanks guys.
Whitey, I would definitely have some help putting the hood on. It was a bear doing it with the wife. I would put the plates onto the hood a little differently. I would get the firewall brackets on and then place the hood on and line up the mounting plates and tack them on from underneath. Use LFD's thread as a guideline and make your own adjustments. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=374708

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside
Well no progress on anything. Moms under hospice care and its a matter of time. I wish she could have seen this truck. I think she would like the color. Remember us in the coming days as I lose my dear Mother.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside
I just returned from a long deployment in West Africa, back to civilization (in Oman for my Permanent Duty Station... its modern civilization even if my truck is back in CA) to find this sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I know I needed them when I lost my mother.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside
Mom is free from the body that imprisoned her. She is with her sisters and the Lord now. Thanks to all my truck buddies for the prayers and well wishes. She went peacefully and was in no pain.
