Kidding of course. Hey, we wouldn't be your "virtual buddies" if we didn't give you crap like that, right? Hank looks very very cool in his new digs. Will the finished interior have any retro features to make him feel at home? Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 1949 Chevy 3600 into a daily driver
nice looking shop man! makes me wish I would have had the space to build mine bigger and taller.
That 49 has got to be the finest example of an AD pickup that I've seen to date. Everything about it looks perfect, the stance, the paint, the wheels, it's got that "full package" look to it. Nicely done bud

I acquired some cool rusty galvanized tin that I plan to run around the bottom of the shop as a wainscot. Similar to the picture below. I also have a pretty sweet grill off a '48 chevy parts truck that will go on the wall as well as an assortment of other stuff!! |

Re: 1949 Chevy 3600 into a daily driver
Not much to report.....bustin A$$ on this garage. Not much time for Henry unfortunately!!
Currently 100% sheeted and wrapped. Hoping to get some shingles on this weekend as well as install the garage doors. My Sister in Law got married this past weekend and used Henry as a prop. Very cool!! |

Re: 1949 Chevy 3600 into a daily driver
Smart thinking! Looks good and your garage is looking great too. Congrats on that. I'd LOVE to have the room (not to mention the money, lol) to put up a bigger garage,

Re: 1949 Chevy 3600 into a daily driver
i can't help it but I keep coming back to your build thread to read certain parts of it over and over. It seems I'm having the same sort of over heating issues as you did. I think we have it narrowed down to the gauge so we'll be testing it with a heat sensing gun tonight to make sure.
How are you finding the ride? And what size of tires are you running on Henry?

Just finished reading your thread! Congratulations on a fantastic truck, just love the patina and the wheels...
My panel truck is repainted white, underneath I can see the original turqoise...trying to figuire out a way to bring that back... Anyhow, thanks for a great thread and great pics, enjoyed it immensly! Pontus Posted via Mobile Device |

Really nice pickup fella. I've just imported one from Georgia US, I'm for ever using this thread as a research tool. Cheers

Re: 1949 Chevy 3600 into a daily driver
Needless to say I love your truck...but I should NOT have showed the wife! She says the blue is perfect and why can't ours be like that?
Great to see Henry back to life and being used as a truck. Nice choice of wheels, too! Do you remember what size tire you are running on the front? I'm worried about clearance.
