Hydroboost
Picked up a hydroboost unit out of a duramax.
Just wonder how you guys go about attaching these to the pedal? Searched around a bit and haven't really found pics or instructions of that part Thanks |

Re: Hydroboost
I'm sure there is a better way but the basics should be drill the mounting holes and modify the rod as needed to attach to the pedal. I'm curious also cause id like to switch to a HB eventually also

Re: Hydroboost
Hydroboost bolts in just like a vacuum system would. The difference would be earlier models only had 4 studs/bolts securing to the firewall while post 70's had 6. All models will require some tweaking to get the push-rods to reconnect @ the proper lengths. You might have to be creative & use bushings for securing the rod to the pedal or splicing old w/new to make things work together.

Re: Hydroboost
Saw a picture on here somewhere. In a nut shell he cut the end off the hydroboost rod and cut treads on the remaining rod. then conected it with a coupling nut. I'm sure there are a number of ways to do it just relaying what I saw. I'm a long way from that point haha.
