Re: 68' GMC Build from Sweden
Mount for the ipand mini that goes into the dash.
Then we stared with the bed again, some changes, decided to use the bedwood in a frame we could open and use sheet metal around the hatch. Time to modify the original wheel tubs so itll fit the new floor height. the new one towards the old one. Sheet metal. In june we moved the truck out to get a better view. looks nice. Continued with the bed. away with the stake pockets. Under dash stuff going on.

Re: 68' GMC Build from Sweden
More cleaning up.
had to make room for the tires. Then it was time for some door panels and sound system to be made (not done yet). not so satisfied with the door handles though so I'll guess we figure something else out. Trans tunnel done. Rear axle painted.

Re: 68' GMC Build from Sweden
On august 12 the engine started for the first time in our possession.
Video on that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mz_Y..._6zhNYd8Hfy5xg And later that month we got the honor to drive the truck for the first time since 2011. fun little video on that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EIX...ature=youtu.be pics: And for now, as of yesterday, we're here, making the wheel wells in the front. Just to point out, there is no fancy machines in this built. just old fashion hand made stufft, welder and a grinder

Re: 68' GMC Build from Sweden
The core support, radiator all finished up, added access to the radiator cap. The wheel wells didnt turn out as we hoped for so'll be making new ones, ordered a bead roller so its going to look better when we redo them...
Started the install of the vintage air system, damn tight under dash, had to redo some stuff for it to work.
