Re: I feel Slovenia 64 SWB BBW build
Made also brake booster bracket. I know it is copy past kind of thing by one of members out here but is is nice and effective design. I left extension on right side for added support if there will be something added to it down the road. It turned out better then expected. Should go well together with chrome

Re: I feel Slovenia 64 SWB BBW build
Over a year forward some updates on build. Worked on new wiring from American auto wire for year correct. Got a rust free hood from fire truck along with nice original dash. Sold the rest for same price, that does not happen to me often. Till January I got front clip all ready to paint and got local guy to do it for me. He did messy job and I was demotivated and sanding again.... That delayed me a while right there. I got it straight again and another painter did it much better. Front clip was now ready to assemble. At that time I got good deal on pair of new CPP tubolar arms and said why not. That lead to brand new set of drop spindles and brakes,... About same time I ordered boyd weld tank with bed fill. With all the delays did not want to fabricate more and put side fill on bed. Couple of pics of progress and assembled.

Re: I feel Slovenia 64 SWB BBW build
Got vintage air setup for C10 and it fit great. Some startup problems with installation but other than that all good. Used electric fan with home made shroud to fit on stock radiator. About same time I got Alpine stereo setup. Two amplifiers, 4 speakers and sub. Bed was in decent shape, not much repair needed but went with new tailgate since old tailgate was GMC stamped and make it smoother with inner SS hinges. Widened bed wheel tub 5inches if ever decide to go wild with rear tires. Bed wood is oak from Mar-K and stained blue. Finish is satin with water based to prevent getting darker with age. It matches good on sun, not that much parked inside. You can already see exhaust on previous post - it is outside the frame. I like it better that way and it is mounted as high as possible to prevent any rubbing while on the road. Got new chrome grille but for some reason it did not fit the best. Just blasted the old one and make it little different then the rest out there.

Re: I feel Slovenia 64 SWB BBW build
Couple more pics follow of truck already as driver. Rear bumper is out of 67-72 truck. It fit better than stock looking with my eyes. Lettering is 3M sticker and fit great. all other white is painted. Still some minor things to finish but it is legal and on the road after over 2 years

Your truck looks killer! I really like the blue bed wood with the stainless. I wish I would have thought of it. Great job!

Re: I feel Slovenia 64 SWB BBW build
I finally got the plates for the truck after going thru replacing the title. It's great finally getting drive it but I found out that it needs more work. I want front power disks, a/c and the bench seat springs repaired. Setting on it in and out of the garage I couldn't tell what all it needed until I drove it. The more I drive it I think i'm going in the more modern direction. Good luck with yours!

Gorgeous truck! Thanks for posting an update. I like the shift knob, too cool haha. Wheels, ride height, interior, just looks right! Do you have any full side shots? Blue stain looks awesome too.

There is also part nr 143-8973GMML12 for rear with better BS available but was not on stock when I was buying them. Supplier did not have any info at the time of when they will get them also. My rear wheel setup is really tight to outer lip, front clear without any problem. I was told by CPP tech support that their drop spindles and CPP arms should pull wheels in some too, that helped for sure.

Is it a major concern rubbing wise or just close but doesn't rub? (Not quite sure if you have it on the road yet alot) I'd like to keep the nice deep dish lip vs. losing some to backspacing. Rolling my fender lips is on the table.

Very nice! What did you end up using to get your t5 shifter to work out so it doesnt interfere with the bench seat? Make your own shifter handle or one of those adapters?

Thanks, no pic needed! I see most people using the s10 t5's, but it's nice to see the camaro ones are usable with just a little ingenuity as well.

Only rubbing issue is rubber to the two cross members on the inside of the bed sides connecting inside panel to the outside lip. Fender lip is safe. But this will happen only in case if I am too fast in sharp curve and bumpy road. I do not race with it therefore is no serious issues at all. If I would do it all over again: Rolling the fender lip and bending the two cross members closer to the outer fender and then angled on top (letter L shape instead of I like stock) should clear all issues.
