shortbed grafted onto blazer tub idea
So, i think blazers look a little goofy with the shorter wheelbase when lifted with bigger tires. My solution is to graft a shortbed onto the blazer tub for about 6" more wheelbase.
My question is how different the bed mounts on a shortbed frame are from the "bed" part of the blazer are. I'm having trouble finding frame dimensions for a shortbed frame. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: shortbed grafted onto blazer tub idea
That's a lot of work cutting the frame in half and adding 6", then adding sheetmetal to the bed too.
Instead why don't you get a windshield frame from a K5 and cut the cab off a short bed pickup then fill the seam between the bed and the cab. That's just as crazy an idea but either way you're going to be doing a wholey ton or work! |

the question was pertaining to the body mounts and bed mounts....are they the same or not? if not, then where do i need to stretch the frame? |
