Re: What's your dream truck?
Mine is a patina'd 68 50th Anniversary C10 longbed with buddy buckets, a full Porterbuilt suspension, Accuair e-level, riding on some Delmo specials. I would be fine with a plain old 350 but and LS would be nice. Maybe one day I can own something like that. I already have a set of buddy buckets, now I just need to find the rest of the truck.

Re: What's your dream truck?
Wow, this one is hard.. I'd have to say a 68 or 69, 503 light green, 327 or 396 (396 was available in 69 correct?) Ac, power steering and brakes, and just loaded with options, like buckets ect. I almost would want it to look base model though with painted bumpers and caps, and a white roof too, swb. I just don't know! But those are my favorite years, and color, so something a long those lines. There's so many more I want though..
A 67, because it was the first year of second gen, a 68 Short fleet, 68 Short step, a 69-70 swb, i have my 69-70 lwb already, a base model 71-72 swb, a lwb cheyenne super, a pro touring 67 or 68 ( the rest would be factory height and restored/unrestored original) a Swb 4x4, a 71-72 3/4 ton, the list goes on.. I want like 10 of these trucks in my life time! Can't forget a 50th, either short or long, i dont mind. I'd prefer original on all of these, but i definitely want to restore one. (or a few!) I'm gonna need some garage space. |

Re: What's your dream truck?
looking at the step side thread made me think of another, 67-72 (any year) 3/4 ton long bed stepside 4x4 with a 292 /sm465 setup

Hmmm. 1970 C10 CST or Custom LWB. Med Bronze-original paint fleetside, 350-- to keep Copperhead company.

Re: What's your dream truck?
72 Cheyenne Super K20 Custom Camper with tach, tilt, a/c, step bumper, below eyeline mirrors, aux tank, wood bed, cab clearance lights, PO3 caps on stock steelies, 504 medium olive, olive vinyl buckets. That would do just fine. Oh, and a nice vintage functional snow plow. Weird, I know. Wouldn't see much action here in the desert, but when the big one hits, I'll be ready! Ha.

Re: What's your dream truck?
I think an in line 250 Clifford manifold and dual carbs. with 5 speed. Short step, 68 GMC from end. Ac. power steering 4-wheel disks. Not positive on seats or wheels, but the above will get me going.

Re: What's your dream truck?
Any 1969 3/4 ton longbed truck, in this order:
Dodge power wagon 440 Chevy (gmc) just like the one I have 350 otherwise bare bones International harvester - big, heavy, 360 Jeep (which in 69 came with a Buick 350...legendary) I have one of these but it's kinda 3/4 ton-ish but will carry 1 ton... Ford (unibody might be acceptable) 6 cylinders all in a row And since I'm not awake from my dream yet I'll throw in a 67 Scott built crew with marmon Harrington drivetrain. Oh any I still have room for a k30 blazer (69).... Posted via Mobile Device
