maybe next year
My dad and I thrashed on the 67' last week to get it ready for the vintage truck show in Yellow Springs Ohio today, but didn't quite make. We had the whole family geared up and on the road, when at about 25 minutes out of an hour drive, my dad pulls up beside me and says he saw a puff of smoke come from the truck, to pull off and check it out. Get out, pop the hood and sure enough the valve cover breather is spitting oil out and onto the exhaust. I don't think it's too major and I probably could have made it, but just don't want to risk it. So here I sit at one of our fine metro parks enjoying the weather, and the food and munv hies we packed for the show. I think I'll pull the over off the road a little and get some naturebpics with the truck.
