Will there be a 100th anniversary !!!!
Do you guys think Chevy will produce a anniversary truck in 2018 and what will it be like. I'm really in need for a new truck, and im not sure what to do. I bought a new truck in 99 its blk 4x4 reg cab fleet and I love it, the prob is I have 176,000 mi on her so I've been thinking of getting a new one. I have an 85 Jimmy and my 2008 rocker c for back up vehicles, I could prob drag out 3/4 more years with my truck. I guess we will have to wait and see!!!

Well you have 4 more years until the 2018 models come out. I am curious on how they will look myself but I will most likely not be pleased. If GM/Chevrolet were smart, they would consider a limited edition retro style. Something like what they did with the Camaro. Now that would be something interesting to see, like it or not.

Re: Will there be a 100th anniversary !!!!
I'm sure they'll do a special edition...or two. There really isn't any cast in stone gift for 100th anniversary since all that's based on wedding anniversaries,so hard to say about color, but possibly Gold again would be my bet.
I bought my '92 and had my '72. For years I'd jokingly say I planned to get a 2012 because I like to get a new GMC every 20 years whether I need one or not. Well,2012 has come and gone and I'm still in my '92 with just under 300k on it. So,I guess it was no joke. Had I gotten a 2012 I really wouldn't have had to since the '92 is doing just fine. I remember buying tires in '08 and thinking they were the last set I'd buy. I'm about to buy the next set, maybe today!

I'm hoping they do a tribute to our perticular year (67-72). I think with the body style being so attractive that it would be a huge hit, especially if they have an optional LSX454. I'd love to see an all out performance truck from chevy with the feel of a 67 slant nose.

They did a 60th of the Corvette, so I imagine for something not so limited like a truck, they will hold out for something special on the 100th.
I would love to see retro 67-72's styling, but who knows.
