I must be an addict!

ALL I want to do is work on my truck!!!

I have a ton of other stuff to do but all I can think about is the "next project" on the truck....

Anyone else do this?

Stay focused grasshopper. More than half of the other thing you need to do make it easier to do the "next project" on the truck. It is a balance and I wish I had nothing else to do but work on my projects but that would cause some trouble in the long run. Make good choices now and the future will be a bright one for you and your truck projects.

Man do I sound like a parent or what

Re: I must be an addict!

It is killing me to see my 64 and 70 just sitting there next to my shop. Too many projects going on at the moment, but the good thing is most of the projects are leading to both trucks. I plan to attack the 64 first just to get on the road for now mainly as tribute to Jimmy.
The 70 will be much more extensive with the 5.3 conversion. but before those happen I have to rebuild the suspension on my daughters IROC and pull the tuneport out of the other for my son's 75 short steeper. Then put a 96 LT1 in my boat. That will fun (not) well until I get it all working, then ya it will be fun.

I'm in search of someone like that to move in next door to me

I like it in the cooler months, but in the extended summers here, it's like crawling into an oven to get work done.

I know what you mean. It's sick. I dream about my truck...think about my truck...talk to my truck. Not sure where it will end....of course I could get another truck....hmmmm.

Yup, I'm either working on my truck, riding the bike to go get parts, or going to work.

Re: I must be an addict!

I was like that trying to get the truck in driving shape. Once I got it to where it was safe and comfortable to drive I slowed down a lot. Now I sort of pick 1 item per week and work on it. I find I would rather drive it than wrench on it.
