1994 z71 winter beater project

winters get pretty mean here, and driving a lowerd truck probably isnt the best idea, so i picked up this truck for 1000$ this weekend, it was a one owner truck owned by a old guy, seems to be well maintained, runs good considering it has 319000 on it!

first thing i did to it was taking the canopy off

then i pulled all the wheels off to check the brakes and front end

the front end, and shocks had been done, the rear brakes were good, but the front pads and rotors were worn..
i have a few plans for her, tighten the front keys to level it, rear air bags, 2.5" y pipe, changing the 245/75/16 tires to 265s, paint and body and a few other things,

Re: 1994 z71 winter beater project

ive been stock piling part for a little while and i have a pretty decent start. including a whole parts truck that was smashed up then written off.

beleive it or not but theres a full 2.5" y pipe with a muffler i picked up from a buddy who was moving and needed to get rid of it. its from a f**d but i can make it work!

i picked up these fenders from a guy for 20$ theyre in great shape.

i got this bull bar from the junk yard, not sure what its from but with some welding itll work

and nine 265 75 16 tire i got for a 100$, i have four picked out that i like, two good year wranglers and two firestone destinations with about 90% tread left

also a buddy of mine gave me the covers to black out my headlights.
