Never put a front glass in myself. I've talked to a few that have tried and ended up calling a glass place. Most will charge about the same as a catalog for the glass, then just whatever they charge to put it in... That's what I'm going to do on my two projects.

+1 on the glass place. It's cheaper than you think and the piece of glass that separates your face from stuff flying at it is not something to take chances with. Even the big chains (safelite etc) can source glass for our trucks and they will come right to your place and put it in.

All winshields for these trucks are produced out of the states. My son is a very experienced glazier. He said to get Pilkington glass, thats what we did and it is very good quality. So fwiw....
