Re: interior redo

Thanks. My plans are to do a color change ,swap the spoon style gas pedal, swap in a van tilt column, retro wood steering wheel , new billet dash insert, tach, new carpet , gas tank cover , stereo upgrade , small center console and these working electric range rover bucket seats. all on a budget !

Re: interior redo

Well my mock up went a bit to far
I had intended to install the seats to "just see how they fit"
Then I thought I would see how my "e-bay deal" carpet would fit. Well it didn't. It was about 6 inches short width wise. Not wanting to deal with the hassle of returning it and since I got it cheep , I cut it right down the middle. Fit good after that.
I plan on adding a console later so it will cover the gap. In the mean time I made a panel and covered it with some black carpet .
More to come

Re: interior redo

That was a quick interior change. Dig the buckets, they look good and comfortable, ebay sucks for returns, look like you came up with a good remedy for the carpet. Karooze

Re: interior redo

Yup! I lived ( still do ) about 1/2 a mile from King & Story , behind Jack"s liquers.
When it would get real packed it was a trip trying to tell the cops I had to go past there road blocks to get home. They still have the "NO CRUSING" signs posted.

Re: interior redo

Well things have been crazy around here, so progress has been slow.
I installed a different stereo. Here is a pic of the three point sea belts. Soon as things settle down I'll get the rest done.

I picked it up at a yard sale . I was going to make one , but this one worked out fine. It just sits on the floor now but fits great, and dosn't slide around.
