Front Springs
Has anybody ever used 3 inch drop springs on the front. I was just wondering if that changes the front suspension geometry to much. Alot of people are using 1 to 2 inch springs with their drop spindles but I was thinking maybe I would try 3 inch. That would be almost a 6/6 drop. Anybody have a truck with this drop that doesnt have bags. I would like to see some pics.

i've got them installed, but i don't have any rims or tires on the truck yet, so i don't know how much the geometry will be off. i hope it isn't that much.

What size tires and rims are you goung to run. Are you also running drop spindles. Was thinking about that front offset. Might have to pull those fronts in to be able to turn.

It will throw it wayyyyy out of wack. You will have to install longer bolts on the top a-arms to be able to shim it out enough to line it up....don't do it...you will be sorry. If you what to go that low bags are the only way to go

I've done it several times. No problems adjusting the camber and caster back to proper specs without any mods to the upper bolts.

I got 3 inch drop springs on the front of mine. When i went to get the alignment done the guy had to use 12 bucks worth of spacers on the upper A arms to make it work. Don't know if that was just the drop or in a terrible need of an alignment otherwise. Otherwise i don't have any problem with mine. But i got 15 rims. 255x60R15 tires. Hope i helped some.
