Puking antifreeze !
So this is only the second time i drove my truck after 3 long years. Today I pulled in the drive and I was puking antifreeze. It just have done so the first time since I added before I took off for the second drive. My question is, is this normal ? or do i need a different radiator cap ? or is that the level it should be after its done puking and i shouldn't add any more ?

Re: Puking antifreeze !
It should be down 2-3 inches in the radiator. These trucks don't have an overflow tank from the factory. If it bothers you,do a search, many have posted their solutions. You need to check it regularly because it may go down a little at a time and need periodic refilling.

Re: Puking antifreeze !
When I first got my truck it would puke coolant until the level in the radiator got down about 5-6 inches below the filler cap - turns out the original owner had a 9 lb radiator cap on it and the manual calls for a 13 lb cap. I replaced the cap and it quit (provided the cold radiator was correctly filled to 2-3 inches below the filler cap).

Re: Puking antifreeze !
The original AC cap was a 15psi Im sure it was original too. My murray book at work called for a 16psi. Filled it up to the top fin and put a new 16 on. Will find out this weekend what happens.
