Lowering blocks for an AD

I am trying to find lowering blocks for the rear of my 54 will no luck. Has anyone been able to find a 1 3/4" wide block?

it wouldn't take much modification to use 2" blocks. Those are easy to find

yeah me to a lot easier and cheaper local suspension shop hooked up the u bolts. the guys at the metal shop gave me a few scrap pieces of square tubing they couldn't sell.

You can get by with heavy wall tubing but grinding notches in the 2 inch wide lowering blocks to clear the U bolts.
If you use square tubing use the thickest wall tubing you can get as thin wall tubing has a good chance of crushing.

Here is a link to some 3 inch lowering bocks that will bolt on complete with U bolts but they are not inexpensive in my opinion. Three inches may be too much too.

Thank you for the all of the input. I was thinking of using 3" channel and boxing it in with 1/4 flat strap. I will have to see if I can come up with some 1 1/2 x2 tubing next week.

Most metal supply places have a scrap bin for cut off pieces of material where you could likely find what you need to make your own, don't you think?
