gas pedal conversion?

What is needed to put a 71-72 gas pedal assembly into a 69 cab

Since the cabs are made differently, I retained the rod setup and just cut the pedal off and welded the 71 pedal on at the right location.

Other guys have reworked the firewall to allow the 71 pedal assembly to bolt up but I was mainly interested in eliminating the studs in the floor. In addition to the pedal work, I made up an angle to form the heel rest and welded it to the floor.

Some guys just drill a couple new holes to match the cable/firewall bracket, bolt it on and go. No cutting, welding or even removing the firewall padding required. I do it everytime I want to change to a T400 or 700R4, because it makes it so easy to hook up the "kick down" switch or cable.
