Frame vin number

Can someone identify if the frame my old autoshop teacher has that he would sell me he said it was from a blazer but I want to make sure before or if I buy it thanks the vin mumber I found is on the passenger side frame right above the axle. the number is C6F216221.

I would just take a quick over all length measurment and that will tell you. the blazer frames are 186 7/8 " .

Thats just a partial vin that should match the spid and the tag on the door jamb. Without those you'll have to measure. If he has any old paperwork with the vin on it you could check that.

Randal,
Looking at the picture I would guess that the frame is a 73 or newer. It has a sway bar and the wiring harness looks like one for a internal regulator alternator.
