Re: 1970 c10 trans crossmember
If you are thinking of a traditional cross member that supports the tail end the answer is no for the Saginaw 3 speed. I can't say anything on the 4 speed transmissions but I was under my truck yesterday checking my trans mounts for wear. The trans has the flat area machined in to receive a cross member + mount but its not used.

Re: 1970 c10 trans crossmember
Ok thank you. I saw where a few people said there was not one, but it was vague. There is a spot to mount one like you said. Is there any benefit to adding one?
