sooo.. What kind of Dog dish hubcaps-Poverty caps-Wheel Covers are those anyway?
I have seen a lot of alternatives to the stock hubcaps on this board and I would like to see what other caps you guys got to fit on our trucks. Post Pictures of your hubcaps // wheel covers and lets us know what they are and how they are mounted.
I have a 63 1/2 ton with the stock 6 lug, nub style wheel, The caps are 10 1/2 inches open in back. These are from a 68 69 Chevelle, Nova and Camaro.

Here are 1/2 ton c10 Caps 1969 and up. 1/2 ton measure around 10.5" in diameter. 3/4 ton caps measure around 12" in diameter. Blue bowtie is "correct" for 69-72. Yellow bowtie is "correct" for 73-up. 69-72 are chrome over brass and the 73-up are stainless steel. Here are a couple of the stainless caps I tried buffing and painting.

Nice truck!! I REALLY like it. You don't see many long steppers, especially '63s, and almost never as nice as yours.
I like your ideas on the caps, and I like both versions you posted. I had been wanting to try the trick you did on the '69-up caps, but I went to a different wheel style. Man, it looks even better than I envisioned. They look factory-original, like your '63 came new with them.

Re: sooo.. What kind of Dog dish hubcaps-Poverty caps-Wheel Covers are those anyway?
Thanks for the compliments guys, I didn't know there where so few long steppers or what hubcaps were suppose to be on the truck until I found this group. I am trying to find a custom cap that will flow with my new interior. Its gives me something to do while I enjoy driving the truck. I would like to thank the guys on this group and the guys over on the 67-72 board for all their help. Karooz

Here are the steel caps for the years 1969-1978, Chevy C-10 G-10 Van Truck. Painted this one several different ways because the white cap didn't look good on the white truck.

They are polished aluminum and they shine up nice, looks good LVPhotos. I am going to reupholstered my seat black and white in the near future and I think this will work.
Here is a stock photo of the 73-87 and what I am using now.

Here is a pic of a 1971 1972 1973 Nova cap I borrowed from Woogeroo. I really like the old school baby moon with the bowtie. He has them on one of the other long bed steppers here. He has detailed Measurements, and pictures of his truck here http://stepsidematraca.wordpress.com...092005-4-pics/

Is this what you are talking about? I'd drop my truck and mount those on, what are they and where do you get them?

The rims in the picture are 1974-1987 1/2 ton Blazer steel wheels with chrome spider rings from Rally America. Bullet lug nuts and bullet lug locks, should fit ours trucks also. Post some pics if you get them to work.

Re: sooo.. What kind of Dog dish hubcaps-Poverty caps-Wheel Covers are those anyway?
I had these 1955 Plymouth wheel covers around and I liked them on the truck
I just recently changed to these poverty caps. I'd love to change the rear to my new 15x8 steelies with a tall 275-70-15 tire not sure if they will fit

Re: sooo.. What kind of Dog dish hubcaps-Poverty caps-Wheel Covers are those anyway?
Wheel hunting tip: These wheels were also factory equipment on the same years Jeep Wagoneers. I couldn't any "Chevy" wheels for sale and finally found a Jeep guy with a pile of them. Hope this helps. )bone(
