Member needed in Southern Cal

I also posted this in the 60-66 forum, but I figured this forum is more active and I might have a better chance of finding help.

I am wondering if there might be someone in Southern Cal who might be willing to go look at a 1965 C10 for me. I have talked to the man who is selling the truck and it sounds like what I want, but if I can get someone to look at it before I fly out to buy it I would certainly appreciate that. I would be happy to compensate someone who would be willing to do this. The truck is in Menifee, which is apparently about 70 miles north of San Diego and maybe 70 or so miles east of LA. The truck is not currently drivable because the battery is bad. It may have some other little issues, but it sounds like the truck is basically solid.
