Engine Bracket Help!

I have an opportunity to by some tubular engine mounts but there's a catch. They are specified for a V8 but I want to use them on a 250. I've done my due diligence and used the search function to no avail. I know the sbc will go into the 6 brackets and I've seen pics of the 6 brackets vs. The V8 version. I don't mind drilling the bottom hole but it looks like the V8 brackets kick back on the lower end and may not hit the crossmember in the 6cyl position. Any info is appreciated and a bare frame with a V8 bracket in the 6cyl position would be the be all end all.
