I know how big of a pain it can be to get parts that don't work. But the colors are going to be great when they get you the full size one! Keep up the good work!

Yea, I guess I misinterpreted Tim's response when I was asking about these....Im not real happy. Guess I need to chalk it up to a lesson learned. So now I can try and find a blazer seat or have another seat cover made.

One good thing, it only took me three trips to the autoparts store to get the right serpentine belt for the EDC.

Don't you have a full size second seat? That looks like it is for the 3/4 second seat.

I may have a lead on a complete blazer...maybe I can pick that up. If it happens, I will rob the seat from it and have a project to start after this one is done.

Vary cool idea! It took some work for me to find my 3rd row seat for my suburban. (still not done) I passed up a blazer just so I didn't feel bad about jacking the seat. I lucked out on a buddy turning his burb into a 4 door.

If it doesnt pan out, I may bite the bullet and have another cover made...Just hate the thought of having this cover and not beig able to use it, and I doubt I could sell just this one cover.

Anyone know the width of the 3rd row or blazer seat is?

Here is my finished up engine drive compressor. I need to get a leader hose made up for it, I will get the shop that made up my hydroboost hoses to do it.

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

When I get home I can check how wide mine is. I bet if you wanted to try and trade someone that wide seat for a smaller 2nd seat you might have luck with that. Never hurts to ask around. I know If I didn't have my seats all done I would have jumped at the wider seat.

Yes, the york compressors came on a lot of vehicles. I got the drawing from the March website I think.

No, Ill get the local shop make me a fitting with a leader hose. Thats about as far as ive gotten with it.

I was reading on the Kilby website that an unloader is not needed. Seems that I am finding as many people using them as are not...

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

Still kinda butt hurt about the seat covers, not wanting to buy another cover right now, i decided to cut down one of the old bench seats i have and see what it looked like. The worst I would be out would be an old seat frame.

Got it cut down, welded up, the foam cut and the cover put on. I pushed it to the one side so it would be like having access to get to the back. Im not sure if I like the 3/4 seat in the second row. Anyway, here is how it looks.

I think it looks pretty good, you were busy chopping down the seat and foam and throwing that cover on!

That would of taken most of us a weekend to get it done... hmm, maybe I am taking too many beer breaks....

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

Worst case, you can put it in the back as the third row seat.

I have no room for a third seat. Its starting to grow on me and my wife said she likes it so I guess it will stay for now.

Looks great! My 2nd row didn't have arm rests. That cover looks great with the blue you painted your burb.

Thanks. I do have the arm rest but havent decided if I am going to use them or not.

I ordered some fittings to get the air supply line run back the other day but they havent made it yet. I found a check valve to use from a pneumatics company that is supposed to crack open at 5 psi and is rated to 5000 psi, I am going to put it in line just before the tank, and it came in yesterday. Think I am going to go and get a leader hose made up today.

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

I think the hand rails will make the seat look wider.

I think it will add a couple of inches to the width, I just have to punch the holes in the vinyl to put them on.

I just think the perception will change of the backseat with them on.

My 72 had them on both the 2nd and 3rd row. My 69 is a low option ride.
