Towing with my '65
I spotted this '74 dually on the side of the road today. I think you all know how it went down; I bought it. Total beater, but with a sweet-sounding low mile GM crate 350, SM465/14 bolt (probably 4.10), hydroboost setup, seemingly tight front end and suspension, etc - for $600 I figured I needed it. All good parts for my 60-66 C-30's...
Of course, it came home behind my '65 C-30, so I thought I'd post a (blurry) picture or two (phone camera works great in the daytime; really blows at night.). I always like seeing working trucks, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of people using a 60-66 as a tow rig. -BTW, the '74's a C&C dually with an added (scabbed) pickup bed; that's the reason it kind of (almost) fits on the trailer.

Re: Towing with my '65
Glad you guys liked the pictures; I'll try to get some that don't suck next time, lol.
I found the '74 on the side of the road up around Rockmart, GA. The '65 came from College Park, GA; I found it on craigslist. |
