Bezel for a Blazer
So I realized long after I purchased this that there is a difference for the K10 and the Blazer. Obviously I'd need to do a dremel mod to make it fit by cutting the line indicated by the arrow.
My question is, does the 70-72 Blazer just have the column at a lower angle/distance? ---

Re: Bezel for a Blazer
Weird. I've owned several of these trucks including a Jimmy and a couple Suburbans.
I can't say I've ever seen a low steering column cutout like that.

Re: Bezel for a Blazer
K10 and blazer and all the 1/2 -1 ton trucks use the same bezel. The one you have pictured is for a big truck. C-40- C-60. You can cut it out and make it work.

Re: Bezel for a Blazer
I agree with the two posts above me. Pickups, burbs, blazers all use the same bezel. You have a bezel for a C40 and larger truck. Cut it out and use it.

Re: Bezel for a Blazer
I'm not at the shop but I'll look when I go back. I know the box it came in has GM stickers with this part number but I want to check the back of the bezel.

Re: Bezel for a Blazer
It is definately a big truck bezel no matter what box it came in. All the 1/2 - 1 ton trucks, blazers and burbs used the same configuration bezel where the cut out would be. Different part numbers would be for 7 hole bezel or 3 hole, choke/no choke, speedwarning hole, gmc would be colored, woodgrain etc but would all still bolt in without any mods. All the C-40-C-60 trucks used the bezel you have pictured

also, did the bezels for the c/k10, burbs, blazers, ship with the silver/gray paint as well as the chrome? Thanks for all of your responses, much appreciated!

Re: Bezel for a Blazer
Gray paint would be a 67/68 bezel, chrome would be 69-72.

Re: Bezel for a Blazer
And to add, some of the later GM bezels came with silver edges instead of chrome for some reason.
