got myeslf a deal on a new bed
so I have to brag, and tell the story...
a friend of mine has a car buddy that came across a 71 c10 orange grove truck a few years ago. 71, long bed, 307, 3 speed, radio delete, 23,000 original miles! lived in a barn for 30+ years... well the guy has decided to make the truck into a short bed! and get aftermarket bed parts and build a wood floor bed.... anyway I got to see the truck a few months ago and it is beautiful with no rust... just a little under the battery... ooh he is al going to do an ls swap I may try to get the 307 but have not decided. Anyway he sold me the bed with tailgate for $500 so Friday night I pulled the bed off my truck, then yesterday I took the opportunity to power wash my frame and went and got the bed... Its even the right color, Medium green, that Im going to paint my trick... now I have to figure out what to do with my old bed, its still and good shape... Pics! |

No Reno I have a good cowel. I just have it off because I have been cutting and welding on the cab and didn't put it back on yet, still have to weld in the patch for the drivers kick panel and get the vent back in.
