Horn question
When I got my 68 chevy truck, it had a aftermarket horn that didn't sound good. I picked up a set of horns 1 low & 1 high. Question is, Where do they mount ? In front or back of the Radiator core support ? Thanks

Re: Horn question
Are they new or 40 year old originals? Out of the last 20 or so original horns I have tested only 1 worked

Re: Horn question
They are originals, 25 dollars for the pair with horn harness. This guy had two buckets full of them. We tested them befor I bought them. He deals in 67-72 only.

Re: Horn question
Your core support, if original, will not have a weld nut for the high note horn. My early 69 didn't. I don't think the high horn was available until 1970 or possibly later in 69. The low mounts to the left of the radiator. The factory location for 70 and later high was below the left headlight. Both go on the engine side of the core support.
