What a way to end the year! Got in an accident!
So glad the year is over. Got in a little fender bender on the 30th. Turning left and got nailed by this truck. No one was hurt, and that is all that really matters. I had the kids with me, they described the impact as a little jolt. I didn't spin, or even move for that matter when he hit. We have a little damage, his is totaled. It's really a shame too, it was a clean little truck.

Glad you are all ok, fenders and sheet metal can be replaced, but family cannot, sorry about your truck bud, we know you will do an excellent job repairing it, hoping this new year brings you luck.

I cringed when I read your title. I thought your truck was going to have more damage then it does. Good to hear you and your Family are ok.

Re: What a way to end the year! Got in an accident!
For the totalled truck, when one rides around in a child's plaything, what can one expect? LOL
Sad for you both actually. Now save up, find a good OEM fender, and fix this! I was in three fender benders with my 2003 Honda Civic and I had each fixed. One was a full length side dent (guard rail), the second was backing into a trailer. I was very tired (very!) working this sales job. I do not miss that job! The third someone backed into my door and drove off. I never found out who did that. Each time I ponied up the $500 deductable and got it fixed. I met a guy who said "fixing up your car is just throwing money away." What??? His car looked all bashed up and ready for the crusher. I think if we fix things as we go our stuff will last longer. Get this fixed brother. Glad everyone was OK. It is encouraging seeing how your truck basically shrugged this hit off. Last edited by In The Ten Ring; 03-17-2014 at 01:26 PM. |
