Thanks, 96twodoor! I like yours, too! I'm fairly new to the West LA area... are there any good parts around?

Re: 1987 swb
Just an update:
Been out of the country a LOT the last 7 years. My BIL has been taking care of her for me. He takes her to church every so often. I’m picking her up in May and we are headed to Washington state! |

Re: 1987 swb
The front is dropped with Western Chassis 2.5 Spindles and 2.5 Springs.
The back has a flip kit and 2 inch shackles. |

Re: 1987 swb
First Off, Thank you for your Service!!! And I love the truck!! Could be, because I have one just like it, and 86. I had that hood also, but I'm working on going back to the original. Just waiting on getting it in for paint.
And those wheels are sweet!! I got to get me some new wheels sometime, hate the ones on my truck.

I have to buy my cars prebuilt so to speak because I am always gone it seems like. I'm retiring in two years, though. The truck will start getting restored at that point. I'm going to start a build thread when I begin. |

Re: 1987 swb
Drove the truck 2,700 miles from western NC to Tacoma, WA over 5 days. The truck did not miss a beat!

Re: 1987 swb
Your truck is so pretty! What color is it? I am about to have my 81 Silverado C20 painted. The color of your truck is exactly what I have been looking for.

LadyTrucker, you can send a personal message directly to 96twodoor. Just click on their name and that option will come up. That way you can leave squaredaway's thread uninterrupted and 96twodoor will be notified of your message next time they sign in.
Welcome to the forum and good luck with your truck! Last edited by LT7A; 06-29-2018 at 06:11 PM. |

Re: 1987 swb
squaredaway, welcome to the great state of Washington! I'd like to see that truck in person. I should have one of my squares reanimated pretty soon and maybe we can meet up at a show somewhere between Tacoma and Seattle.
Also, thank you for your service. I hate that we still have so many people in harm's way, but it's a blessing knowing that there are good people out at these places. Last edited by LT7A; 07-04-2018 at 06:23 PM. |
