front coilovers

Is it possible to modify stock front control arms to use coilover shocks in place of coil spring?
Thanks

Re: front coilovers

I modified my lower a-arms to use a coil over but I did get tubular aftermarket for clearance for the upper.
I used a longer spring (12 inches) so it goes up between the upper arms.

It's defiantly possible. I was actually reading about it as well so I could do it. There's a huge write up on here about doing it too and it has pics. I'll have to find it after work.

I was at work also, but I decided to search for that than work... Maybe not my best decision ever!
