1 do you like it? 2 is there any distortion as you look through it? 3 what brand did you use. 4 would you recommend doing this to any one else? or keep the stock 2pc. 5 thanks for the input, and yes i did use the search first.

Re: 1 piece windshield
The ones I have seen have a lot of distortion. This truck has one thatsix has distortion a few inches to each side of the bend in the middle. It really distracts you from really wild truck.
You can see it in this shot somewhat. Not sure how much it shows from the back looking through the back window. I haven't talked to the owner to see how it affects driving but iit convinced me to stay with flat glass.

Re: 1 piece windshield
Again, personal opinion, I don't "get" it. Butted glass I can understand and it can look pretty neat depending on the theme of the truck. But I personally like the original divider, it reminds you that you are driving an old truck.

Re: 1 piece windshield
Having tried butted glass I am going back with the divider this time Brian. Trying to find someone who knows what he is doing and then keep it sealed is trouble than I want now. As it is I will most likely take the truck to a Hamber in Oregon to have the glass done.

Re: 1 piece windshield
54, but it was also a continuously curved windshield not a piece of flat glass folded in the middle to fill two flat glass spaces.

Re: 1 piece windshield
This is correct, and the 54 cab was built different in the windshield area and also the dash....Jim

Re: 1 piece windshield
I like the split windshield myself. I think like MARTINSR said, it reminds you that you're driving an old truck. I think it gives character. The one piece glass was one of the reasons I turned down a '54 when I was buying. That being said, it's like any other customization when building an old vehicle. You're the one driving it so build it how you want it. To each their own. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful on the one piece windshield but, instead, gave you my preference.

It also prevents the use of a Fulton visor with a center brace.
