Wanting to run Vette Suspension front and rear What do i Need?
Hey guys!
Im wanting to Run Corvette front and rear Independent Suspension on Christine. But before i just start buying parts i have a few Questions, im hoping someone will be able to help me find the Answers. Whats a Good year vette to use as a donor or buy the parts off of? on a scale of 1-10 how hard will this be to swap in ? ( i know theres a tone of fab work needed) will i see a significant Diffrence in Performance as far as suspension? Is it worth it ? Here's Christine my 64' , I will also be doing a ls1 swap if that matters

Re: Wanting to run Vette Suspension front and rear What do i Need?
I have a 1968 c10 short box step side. I installed the LS 6 litre, 4l60e trani and a eaton posi with 3.73 12 bolt. Drove it all last summer and work great. I plan on doing the same up grades. I was pricing out the up grades like drop spindles, springs, suspension, shocks, sway bars, rack and pinion steering, disc brakes front and rear. It was adding up pritty quick. I bought the front and rear suspension from a 1987 c4 corvette for $1500. It has everything I just qouted. I bought a front cross member from flat out engineering to mount all of this front end. I think they also make a rear mount kit for your truck. They dont have one for mine yet. I plan on buying the no limit rear frame rail kit for my rear suspension install. Then I will have to make up my own diff mount brakets. I also have a spare frame so I can work on this while I am still driving my truck.

I have a 66 and used 94 vette front and rear - I used the flat out engineering front crossmember and fabbed the rear myself. I have not driven it yet as it is still being assembled, here is the build link http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=559296
